• Copiar nuevas expresiones de vocabulario "Discuss Family Celebrations" y "Ordinal Numbers" de la página 147 en su cuaderno en inglés y en español.
• Hacer las Actividades 1 y 2 en la página 144 en frases completas.  Sigue el modelo.

Martes, el 9 de abril

Students in Period 6 and 7 Spanish 2 have a quiz tomorrow (miércoles, el 10 de abril) on the story we read last week about Andrés and his little sister.  They also have a double-sided worksheet due.  One side is verb practice and the other side is about possessive forms.

Students in Period 4 Spanish 2 have a single-sided verb worksheet due Thursday (jueves, el 11 de abril) and must also complete Ex. 6 in the text on page 113.

All students have a quiz Friday on possessive forms and verbs in present, preterit, and imperfect.

We have a lot of things going on this week.

Tomorrow either in the morning before first period in B-20 or at the end of the day in the library are the last two opportunities for exra credit.  There will be no more extra credit this quarter.

Students in Period 4 Spanish 2 have a quiz tomorrow (martes, el 9 de abril) on the story we read last week about Andrés and his little sister.  They also have a double-sided worksheet due.  One side is verb practice and the other side is about possessive forms.

Homework this weekend for all students is a verb chart worksheet.

Don't forget that I will be available this Monday for extra credit at Department Night.

Extra Credit #3

Come before or after school and translate the imperfect paragraph "Nuestros Abuelos" that we did in class on Tuesday 4/2 or Wednesday 4/3.  I am available:

Thursday 4/4, morning in B-20 or afternoon in the library
Monday 4/8, morning or afternoon in B-20
Tuesday 4/9, morning in B-20 or afternoon in the library

If these times don't work for you, I will try to be flexible and arrange another time for you, but I do have other responsibilities and may not be able to accomodate you.

This assignment is worth up to three extra credit points based on the quality of your translation.

There is no homework this evening for Spanish 2.  However, students who were absent from class today due to the chorus field trip missed a quiz.  See Wednesday's posting (Miércoles, el 3 de abril) for information about what the quiz is on.  Be prepared to take the quiz tomorrow (Viernes, el 5 de abril) in class.

• Use those words to complete Ex 8 on page 115.  Write out each example in present, preterite, AND imperfect.  You DO NOT need to write out the entire sentence.
