Lunes, el 19 de noviembre

Los estudiantes de la clase Período 6 tienen una tarea. Necesitan leer una lectura (Se llama "Benito Juárez, un oaxaqueño por excelencia"), escribir un resumen (summary) de la lectura en inglés (un párrafo) y hacer un papel ("Vocabulario de la Lectura") que acompaña la lectura.  Es para lunes, el 26 de noviembre.

Los estudiantes de la clase Períodos 4 y 7 no tienen tarea, porque tienen una prueba en la próxima clase (martes, el 20 de noviembre).  La prueba se trata de(is about)  los mandatos (commands) positivos y negativos en español.  Los estudiantes pueden leer las páginas 332 y 334 si quieren más información.

Writing assessment:  All students will be completing a writing assessment in class this week (Período 6 - lunes, el 19 de noviembre, Períodos 4 y 7 - martes, el 20 de noviembre).  Students will be required to write a dialogue that takes place in a restaurant between a waiter and two customers.  Students are advised to review vocabulary from Unit 4.3.  They have a vocabulary list that I typed out that they can review or they can review vocabulary from the text on page 315 to prepare.
